Conscientise them
Of the fast pace
At which the world now revolves
Gone are those days
When slowly the globe unnoticeably
Would rotate around the sun in its orbit
Today at the speed so tremendous
Same as the speed of light chasing the darkness away
Faster than a twinkling of an eyes
Is the pace at which the earth travels?
Its stride is so humungous
As it moves in the technology vehicle
Past by us are those waiting periods
Where you would anxiously wait for correspondence
Through mails, posts or telegrams
Replaced was all by fax now emails
With instant messaging taking over the day
Together with video calling ruling the season
How fast-paced life has become
Alas, we have lost control of all
Our lives now dictated by these advancements
Extinct are those days
When brawn was master in the industry
Brain today is king over the business world
The littlest and weakest finger
Today lifts a ton effortlessly
That which required a thousand men
To load and shovel up in the wagon
Is done better and efficiently at a click of a button
With a single hand
Logged down is a whole forest
Prior the sharpest of axes were the best
Muscles of giants were hired
The smallest chip
Now carries the whole library of books
Accessible anywhere and anytime
By everyone without waiting
To have a book returned
